Bike Northwoods Tour Specific Updates for the 2025
Season
12/23/24
12/17/24
- Registration is now open for the 2025 Bike Northwoods Tour! Click
Here to register!
- The tour will start, end, and have a layover day in Rib Lake
instead of Manitowish Waters this year.
- We will not be able to stay at North Lakeland Elementary School in
Manitowish Waters this summer since it will be undergoing extensive
construction. Unfortunately
this also means we will not be able to ride on the Heart of Vilas
bike trail. However, we expect to
be able to return to Manitowish Waters in 2026!
- The tour will still be a loop (starting and ending at the same location)
but will be run in a counter -clockwise direction this year.
- Minocqua will
now be our second stopping town (Monday and Tuesday nights) and
Park Falls
will be
our third (Wednesday and Thursday nights). We will now
ride from Minocqua to Park Falls on Day 4 (Wednesday).
- The route between Rib Lake and Minocqua will be
the longest one of the tour at about 75 miles. By
reversing the direction
of the tour you will be able to ride this longest
route on the second day rather riding it much more
fatigued on the last day.
- Timm's Hill, the highest point in Wisconsin, will
be the last stop on the route between Park Falls
and Rib Lake on the last day. There is an observation
tower you can climb to the top of, breathe in the
breathtaking spectacular views, and truly know that
you're the tallest person in the whole state! We
felt this experience would be a perfect way to finish
your experience with us for the week!
- New Bike Wisconsin and Bicycle Illinois socks are

- A free pair of Bike Wisconsin and Bicycle Illinois
