Staging Area Shuttle to Muscoda

For those of you that are flying into Madison WI or need a ride to the staging area in Muscoda WI from Madison we will again offer the Staging Area Shuttle.
Update 2/25: Due to construction at the River Valley High School in Spring Green this summer, the staging area and finish has been moved to the Riverdale High School, 235 East Elm Street in Muscoda, WI.

For those flying into Madison
We'd advise you to fly into Madison on Friday, June 19. This leaves yourself plenty of time in case of a delayed flight. We recommend flying into and out of the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). This is the closest airport with the best connections.

There is an airport shuttle from Dane County Regional Airport to the Best Western InnTowner,  2424 University Avenue, Madison, WI 608-233-8778. This is the Staging Area Shuttle pickup point.

For those not flying
The Staging Area Shuttle pickup will be in front of the Best Western InnTowner. You should make arrangements to arrive by the departure time. If you are staying at another motel, you should make arrangements to arrive by the departure time. We suggest that you make your reservations early as motels will fill up in Madison.

The Staging Area Shuttle will drive, (people and luggage, no bikes), up to the staging area on Saturday, June 20. It departs at 7 am sharp. It is about a 2 hour drive. We will also take you, your luggage and bike back to Madison at the end of the tour on Saturday, June 27. We should arrive back in Madison by about 9pm. The roundtrip shuttle fee is $50 per person.

You will need to ship your bike 
Bicycles will not be accepted onto the Staging Area shuttle. Bicycles need to be shipped via UPS or FedEx or brought to Wheel & Sprocket. They are the bike shop that will be supporting the tour. Wheel and Sprocket will bring your bike to the start. Make arrangements with them to ship your bike out at the end of the tour. Check with them for details about shipping your bike. You must make your own motel reservations.  You must pre-register for the shuttle.  No day-of-event signups will be allowed.  We must have an exact count of the people on the shuttle. No bikes on the Staging Area Shuttle
