GRABAAWR® 2009
The route starts in Hurley and ends in Spring Green.
The Wisconsin River drops 1,050 feet in elevation from the start to the finish, but there are some ups and downs along the way. The prevailing wind is from the southwest, which often means headwinds. The terrain in the north is slightly rolling. A few larger hills are encountered in the Merrill-Wausau area. From there, the ride flattens out in the central sands area. A few substantial hills will challenge you the last two days. Route profile coming soon.

Hurley to Lac du Flambeau: 80 miles, 100 mile century option
Lac du Flambeau to Tomahawk: 76 miles
Tomahawk to Wausau: 49 miles, Rib Mt. Challenge add 21 miles
Wausau to Wisconsin Rapids: 67 miles
Wisconsin Rapids to Mauston: 69 miles
Mauston to Baraboo: 38 miles
Baraboo to Muscoda: 69 miles
GRABAWWR update 2/25/09: Due to construction at the River Valley High School in Spring Green this summer, the staging area and finish has been moved to the Riverdale High School, 235 East Elm Street in Muscoda, WI.
